Get Started with the ClassCover App

Manage your availability and bookings on the go.

The ClassCover app helps you stay on top of bookings wherever you are. From receiving and responding to requests to updating your availability, you can manage everything quickly and easily from your phone.

Audience: Relief Teacher


Actions (Download and Log In)

1. Download the app

Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) on your device.
Search for ClassCover, then download and install the app.

2. Log in to your account

Open the app and enter your:

  • Email address

  • Password

Alternatively, select Create a free teacher profile if you do not yet have an account.

3. Tap Log In to continue.


Result

The app is installed and ready to use. You can now manage your availability, receive and respond to booking requests, and view your upcoming bookings at any time.


Note

  • Log in to one primary device only

  • Notifications are sent to the most recently logged-in device


Actions (Update Availability)

1. Open the Calendar

Select the Calendar tab at the bottom of the screen.

2. Select date(s)

Choose the date or dates you would like to update.

3. Update availability

Tap Update availability, then select your status:

  • Available – Full Day

  • AM only

  • PM only

  • Unavailable

Tap Update availability to confirm.


Result

Your availability is updated, and schools can now view your selected status.


Actions (Respond to Booking Requests)

1. Open the booking request

When a booking request arrives, tap the push notification or open the app and go to the Bookings tab.

2. Review booking details

Check the:

  • School name

  • Date and time

  • Subject

  • Class details

3. Accept the booking

Tap Accept to confirm.

A confirmation message will display.


Result

You are booked for the shift. The school is notified, and the booking appears in your Calendar with the relevant details.


Tip

  • Most booking requests are competitive—the first casual to accept is booked

  • Enable push notifications so you’re alerted immediately when a request arrives

  • For faster responses, set your notification Banner Style to Persistent in your phone settings so alerts remain visible until you act on them
