Confirming attendance ensures the correct hours worked by the relief teacher are recorded, and the booking is processed for payment. Once confirmed, the booking is finalised and can no longer be edited.

When to confirm attendance
You should confirm attendance:
After the booking has been completed
Once you have verified the actual hours worked
Before payroll is processed
Actions
1. Go to Booking Confirmation
Select Booking Confirmation from the Bookings section of the left-hand menu.
The Pending tab will display all bookings awaiting confirmation.
2. Locate the booking
Find the booking you want to confirm.
Use the search field or Date filter if needed.
3. Start attendance confirmation
Click Confirm attendance next to the relief teacher member’s name.
4. Review and update details
In the confirmation pop-up:
Review the booking summary
Verify or update the Actual booked hours to reflect hours worked
Optionally add notes
5. Confirm attendance
Click Confirm attendance, then click OK to finalise.
Result
The booking is confirmed and moved to the Confirmed tab.
Hours are recorded as the actual hours worked
The booking is locked and can no longer be edited
The booking is queued for payment processing
Tip
Use the search and date filters to quickly find bookings, especially during busy periods.
If the relief teacher did not attend
Click No show instead of Confirm attendance
Enter the required details, including hours and notes
Click Mark no show
The booking will move to the No show tab, and no payment will be processed.
Note
ClassCover sends a Booking Summary email around 2pm as a reminder to confirm attendance
A follow-up reminder is sent the next morning if attendance is still pending
Attendance remains open until action is taken
For multi-day bookings, attendance must be confirmed separately for each day
