Activate Your ClassCover Account (Queensland Department of Education)

Verify your details and become eligible for bookings.

To work in Queensland Department of Education schools, youโ€™ll need to activate your ClassCover account by completing your profile and verifying your details. This ensures your profile is approved and visible to schools.

Actions

1. Start the activation process

When you log in to ClassCover for the first time, you will be prompted to activate your account.

Click Complete Profile.

2. Update your profile

Complete the required profile information.

Fields required for verification are marked with a red asterisk (*).

3. Save your profile

Click Save.

Tip

When creating a ClassCover account, you will be prompted to activate and verify your accreditation with the Queensland Department of Education.

If you exit the process and return later:

  • Click Complete Profile

  • Then click Verify

4. Enter your verification details

Enter your:

  • Legal First Name

  • Legal Last Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Employee Number

  • QCT Number

These details must exactly match the information recorded in the Queensland Department of Education system.

5. Confirm your details

Tick the confirmation boxes.

6. Submit for verification

Click Submit to verify your details against the Queensland Department of Education HR Profile.

7. Complete your profile setup

If your account is approved, you will receive instant confirmation.

Once approved:

  • Click Complete Profile

  • Update your:

    • Availability

    • School preferences

    • Subjects

    • Year levels

This allows schools to find and book you.


Result

  • Your ClassCover account is activated

  • Your profile is verified with the Queensland Department of Education

  • You become available to receive booking requests once your profile setup is completed


Tip

If you do not receive the activation message:

  • Double-check your details are entered correctly

  • After 3 unsuccessful attempts, select Contact Support for assistance


Note

  • You can only verify with the Queensland Department of Education using one ClassCover account

  • If you create another account and attempt verification again, it will not work

  • Your profile will not be visible to schools until you have completed the following sections:

    • Availability

    • School preferences

    • Subjects

    • Year levels
