Complete a District Relief Teacher (DRT) Activation

Finalise a District Relief Teacher profile so the teacher can begin receiving bookings.

This article explains how the HR Business Partner Teams finalise a District Relief Teacher (DRT) profile.

Completing this process activates the DRT profile and makes the relief teacher available to receive bookings.

When to use this article

Use this process when:

  • A District Relief Teacher (DRT) profile is sitting in Activation on Hold

  • The DRT profile needs to be reviewed and finalised

  • Contracted rostered days need to be assigned

  • Cluster schools need to be assigned before activation


Actions

1. Log in to the Support Platform

Open the Activation on Hold section.

This is where LRT and DRT profiles awaiting finalisation will appear.

2. Find the DRT profile

Locate the teacher profile that needs to be finalised.

The profile will display the role type as:

  • DRT (District Relief Teacher)

3. Open the profile for approval

On the right-hand side of the profile:

  • Click Approve Profile

The teacher profile information will open.

4. Review the contract information

Review the contract details received through the integration.

The following information should already be populated:

  • Role type

  • Contract start date

  • Contract end date

  • Base school

5. Assign contracted rostered days

Assign the teacher’s contracted rostered days.

This information is provided by the Regional HR Team.

Select the days the DRT is contracted to work, then click Next.

6. Assign cluster schools

Assign the cluster schools for the DRT.

The base school is automatically populated through the integration.

Cluster schools can be assigned by:

  • Searching for the school name in the search bar, or

  • Selecting the school from the available list

Once the correct cluster schools have been selected, click Next.

7. Confirm the profile

Review the final information on the confirmation screen.

The remaining details should already be populated through the integration.

Click Confirm.


Result

  • The District Relief Teacher (DRT) profile is activated

  • The DRT becomes available to receive bookings


Note

  • DRT activations must be completed through the Support Platform

  • Contracted rostered days are provided by the HR Business Partner Teams and must be manually assigned

  • The base school is populated automatically through the integration

  • Cluster schools must be assigned before activation can be completed

  • Once confirmed, the DRT becomes available for bookings
