Set Notification Preferences in the App

Choose how you receive alerts for new booking requests in the ClassCover app.

This article explains how to navigate the ClassCover app and set up your booking notifications.

Setting your preferences means you will be alerted to new booking requests through your chosen channels, so you can respond quickly.

Actions

1. Open the menu

Select the menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner of the Dashboard.

2. Open Account & Settings

Select Account & Settings.

3. Open Booking notifications

Select Booking notifications to manage how you receive alerts for new booking requests.


Tip

Enable Push Notifications in your phone settings to ensure you receive booking alerts promptly. You can manage all notification types from the Booking notifications screen.


Set up SMS notifications

4. Select SMS

From the Booking notifications screen, select SMS.

5. Turn on SMS priority

Toggle SMS priority on to receive booking requests as an SMS message. Return to the Booking notifications screen by tapping the back arrow.

6. Select Push Notifications

Select Push Notifications.

7. Turn on push notifications

Toggle Push notification on to receive an alert on your phone for each new booking.

Result

Your notification preferences are set. You will receive booking alerts through your chosen channels and can respond directly from your notifications or the Requests tab.


Tip

On the web version, go to Settings > Booking Notifications and tick the Booking notification checkbox to receive an email every Sunday reminding you to update your availability for the coming week. This feature is only available on web.
